A New Campus for The Lotus School of Liberal Arts
The Lotus School of Liberal Arts is moving to Harrow Station in Nockamixon Township, Bucks County, at the corner of Routes 412 and 611. We will open in September for the 2018-19 school year. The new campus gives the school greater visibility and allows us to serve students from Philadelphia to Allentown. The building is a colonial-era former inn whose original structure dates from 1744 and has historical significance for the region.
Our primary focus is to cultivate a community of compassionate, mindful, life-long learners. Our rigorous curriculum, small classes, and experienced educators help to develop students' confidence and self-awareness and to prepare them for college and other future endeavors.
The staff of The Lotus School has worked together in mindfulness education for 20 years. This modality is shown to be very effective in bringing together emotional grounding and cognitive development.
When you visit, you will see a high school community rooted in the practices of mindfulness expressed through academic study, meditation, martial arts, yoga, healthy living and kindness.
